Terms and Conditions

The Choice Gift Voucher (CGV) is Giftcards Group Ltd’s own gift voucher. The following product-specific terms apply exclusively to the CGV, in addition to the General Terms and Conditions set out below.

Applicability
1. These Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between Giftcards Group Ltd and the holder of a digital or physical Choice Gift Voucher (hereafter: “CGV”) issued by Giftcards Group Ltd.
2. CGV is a prepaid gift voucher linked to a stored balance between 10 GBP and 500 GBP, managed within the central administration of Giftcards Group Ltd.

Validity Period
3. The CGV is valid for one year from activation (activation occurs automatically after purchase). When the validity period ends, the balance expires, and the holder can no longer claim its value.
4. The balance and expiration date can be checked at any time via our Website or Customer Services, free of charge.
5. After expiry, the CGV can no longer be redeemed or used as a means of payment.
6. The CGV or any remaining value is under no circumstances exchangeable for cash.

Transferability
7. The CGV is lawfully tradeable only through Giftcards Group Ltd's Website or through authorized resellers as designated by Giftcards Group Ltd.
8. The CGV may only be transferred free of charge to another individual for the purpose of being used as a gift.

Usage
9. Each CGV contains a unique combination of a 19-digit card number and a security code. The holder is responsible for safekeeping this information (see Article 4.4).
10. The CGV can be redeemed for other gift vouchers that are listed as options on this Website up until its expiration date. CGV cannot be used on other websites or shops.
11. Commercial use of the CGV or use for purposes other than its intended function is strictly prohibited.

Blocking and Suspension
12. Giftcards Group Ltd reserves the right to suspend or permanently block one or more CGVs in case of suspected fraud or misuse (see also Article 9: Fraud Prevention and Security).
13. We may also block CGVs if there is reason to doubt the creditworthiness of business customers or in the event of overdue payments.
14. In cases of Force Majeure (as defined in Article 8), Giftcards Group Ltd may suspend the redemption of the CGV for an indefinite period without liability.

Payment and Activation
15. The balance is only linked to the CGV after successful payment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Gift Voucher Offering
16. Giftcards Group Ltd reserves the right to change the selection of available gift vouchers for redemption within reasonable limits at any time. No rights can be derived from the selection displayed on our Website, the CGV itself, packaging, or printed materials.

Refunds
17. CGVs purchased through third-party resellers or retail chains are non-refundable through Giftcards Group Ltd.
18. Once a CGV has been redeemed on our Website, the choice is final and irrevocable. Such redemptions do not fall under distance selling regulations and are not eligible for return.

Other Provisions
19. These conditions form an inseparable part of the general Terms and Conditions published on this Website.

This Website is hosted and operated by Giftcards Group Ltd (see Article 2 for our company details). These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase, use, and redemption of goods and services available on this Website. By using this Website, or by purchasing and/or using our gift vouchers, you agree to these Terms.

Every External Gift Voucher is, by definition, issued by a third-party Issuer and is therefore subject to that Issuer's own terms and conditions, in addition to these Terms. For more details, please refer to the product's official website. The Choice Gift Voucher (CGV) is subject to its own product-specific terms and conditions, set out in the first block on this page (see Article 15).

Website: The online platform, and any other digital channels made available by Giftcards Group Ltd, where gift vouchers are sold and managed. 
Issuer: The third-party company or brand, other than Giftcards Group Ltd (which issues the CGV directly), that owns a specific gift voucher brand offered through the Website and is solely responsible for that card’s value and redemption. Giftcards Group Ltd’s role in respect of an External Gift Voucher is limited to its sale; once purchased, the card’s value and redemption are governed directly between you and the Issuer.
Gift Voucher: A general term for any prepaid gift voucher purchased through the Website, whether issued by Giftcards Group Ltd (including the Choice Gift Voucher, or “CGV”, as further defined in the Product-Specific Terms) or by a third-party Issuer (an “External Gift Voucher”).
External Gift Voucher: A Gift Voucher issued by an Issuer other than Giftcards Group Ltd and offered for sale via the Website.

1. External Gift Vouchers are available for purchase through our Website and may be subject to additional terms imposed by the Issuer (see Article 1).
2. Once purchased, a Gift Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
3. Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed within the network designated by the Issuer.
4. You are responsible for safeguarding your Gift Vouchers. Lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of a Gift Voucher is your sole responsibility.
5. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold Gift Voucher transactions in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.
6. Physical Gift Vouchers are delivered by post within the estimated timeframe indicated at checkout/confirmation. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. 

1. Gift Vouchers may have an expiration date, as indicated at the time of purchase.
2. Any remaining balance after expiration is non-refundable unless otherwise required by local regulations.
3. The Issuer may impose additional conditions on the use of a Gift Voucher, which we are not responsible for.
4. In most cases, balance checks for External Gift Vouchers can be performed on the respective Issuer’s website.

1.  Unless required otherwise by law or as set out below, once you have placed your order on this Website, it is non-refundable.
2. Where a right of cancellation applies, you can contact Customer Services within the eligible period stating your wish to cancel. We will then cancel your ordered gift voucher(s).
3. Once your order is cancelled, we shall refund the balance to you within a reasonable amount of time.
4. Be aware your bank may hold the refunded amount for up to 30 days prior to releasing it to you.
5. Physical gift voucher orders may be refunded within 14 days of delivery, provided the gift vouchers are unused and in their original condition. You must contact Customer Services to initiate the return process.
6.  Refunds will not be granted for physical gift vouchers that have been damaged or otherwise used in any way.
7. Unless the return is due to our error, return shipping costs are your responsibility.
8. Proof of purchase may be required to process any refund or cancellation.
9. Digital gift vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded once they have been delivered or activated, unless required by law.
10. The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by business customers or legal entities.

1. Payments for Gift Vouchers must be made using one of the approved payment methods on our Website.
2. Transaction fees may apply depending on the payment method. These will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
3. If a payment is disputed, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the corresponding Gift Voucher.
4. Certain Gift Vouchers may be subject to a service fee, which will be reflected in the purchase price and/or the amount available at redemption, as shown to you at the relevant time.
5. Your bank or payment card provider may apply its own additional fees or charges (such as foreign transaction, currency conversion, or cash advance fees) to your payment. These are determined solely by your bank or payment card provider and are outside our control; please contact them if you have questions about such charges. 

We issue and manage our own Gift Vouchers and ensure their validity and usability as described in these Terms. However, when a Gift Voucher is used to purchase products or services through an Issuer’s redemption network, we act solely as an intermediary. We are not responsible for the availability, quality, or performance of goods and services obtained through that network.

We are not liable for the refusal of a merchant within an Issuer’s network to accept a Gift Voucher. Any disputes regarding products or services purchased should be directed to the Issuer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, and any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability to you in connection with a Gift Voucher shall not exceed the amount paid for that Gift Voucher.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by Force Majeure. “Force Majeure” refers to any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Giftcards Group Ltd that prevents or delays the fulfillment of its obligations under these Terms, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, labor disputes, governmental actions, power outages, disruptions to communication networks, or failure of third-party service providers.

1. We reserve the right to cancel any Gift Voucher that we suspect has been obtained fraudulently.
2. You must ensure your payment, account and Gift Voucher details remain secure.
3. If you suspect unauthorized use of your Gift Voucher, you must notify us immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a business customer, all disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also bring legal proceedings in your local court, as required by applicable consumer laws.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude your rights as a consumer under applicable UK consumer protection laws.

Giftcards Group Ltd may, without prior notification or consent, modify these terms at any time. Every time you wish to use this Website, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time. Continued use of our services after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on this Website are the property of Giftcards Group Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any materials without express written permission, except as necessary to use the Website in accordance with these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services or the Website at any time, particularly in the event of a breach of these Terms.

These Terms, along with any referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Giftcards Group Ltd and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The parties will consult to replace the invalid provision with a legally valid alternative that closely reflects the original intent.

A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of these Terms.

Previous Terms and Conditions (for purchases made before 1 September 2026)

For purchases made before 1 September 2026, the previous Terms and Conditions of Giftcards Group B.V. continue to apply and are available on request via Customer Services. Your balance, validity period, and rights are unaffected by this change.
